The Great Rubber Duck Race

Join us for The Great Rubber Duck Race at the Haddad Riverfront Park, organized by the United Way of Central West Virginia. Taking place on July 2nd at noon, this event promises friendly competition at the exciting Sternwheel Regatta.
Participating in The Great Rubber Duck Race is simple and helps support a great cause. You can adopt a single duck for just $5 or increase your chances of winning by adopting a flock of 25 ducks for $100. Every duck adoption goes directly towards the United Way of Central WV's Community Impact Fund, enabling them to make a positive difference in the local community.
The first duck to cross the finish line will be awarded a whopping $4,000 cash prize. Additionally, the first ten ducks to make it across will each receive a special prize. And don't worry if your duck isn't the fastest; the last duck to finish the race will earn its adopter a flock of ducks for next year's race.
It's important to note that you must be 18 years or older to adopt a duck for the race. However, you don't need to be present at the event to win.
